Mental Health Day at the Hill
MAMHRF is one of more than 20 organizations that participate in the Mental Health Legislative Network. Join other network members at the State Capitol on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, for a briefing session, rally and visits with legislators. The event begins Christ Lutheran Church, 105 University Ave. W. (across the street from the Capitol) at 10:00 a.m. The rally begins in the Capitol rotunda at Noon. From approximately 1 to 3 p.m., participants are encouraged to visit the legislators who represent them in the House and Senate. Make an appointment with your legislator in advance; call Executive Director Laurie Pumper at the MAMHRF office, 651-290-6273 if you need help in determining who represents you.
Save the Date: MAMHRF Spring Seminar Will be Held on May 13
MAMHRF is currently making plans for a Spring Seminar on Thursday, May 13. We have confirmed that the location will be the Holiday Inn East, located at I-94 and McKnight Road in St. Paul. We are working to firm up speakers and topics. Check back soon!
